Dr Bednarz-Wiącek is a graduate of the Medical University of Silesia. She graduated with distinction, receiving a scholarship and the title of Best Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine with the Division of Dentistry in Zabrze for the academic year 2015/16.
During her studies, she served as Secretary General and Vice President of the National Board of the Polish Association of Dental Students. She was the lead organiser of nationwide dental conferences held in Zabrze and Katowice and coordinated the national “World Oral Health Day 2016” programme, as well as took an active role in numerous public health initiatives throughout the Silesian region. In 2013/14, Dr Bednarz-Wiącek was a finalist in the 7th edition of the national competition for the Best Dental Students.
She went on to obtain a diploma in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopaedics in Barcelona and completed a two-year postgraduate programme at the Athenea Dental Institute, accredited by San Jorge University in Spain. She is currently undertaking a one-year postgraduate course in Gnathology and Occlusion in Interdisciplinary Dentistry, based on the concept developed by Prof. Rudolf Slavicek and his team at VieSID in Vienna.
